Sport Medicine Physician
Dr. Wong Shue earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Sport and Exercise Medicine Section of the Ontario Medical Association and the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). He earned his Diploma in Sport Medicine from CASEM in 1996. He also holds a Focused Practice Designation in Sport Medicine from the MOHLTC of Ontario.
Dr. Wong Shue is a staff member at Southlake Regional Health Centre. He practiced family medicine in Newmarket and Sport Medicine in Toronto for several years before deciding to focus on practicing sport medicine in the Newmarket/Aurora area in 2003. He is involved in the teaching of Sport Medicine to Family Practice residents at Southlake.
Dr. Wong Shue has served as consulting physician for several junior hockey teams in York Region and has an interest in concussion management and injury prevention.
