Alaina graduated from Centennial College with an Advanced Diploma of Massage Therapy with honours in 2023, and prior to this, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Physical Education with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 2018.
Alaina grew up playing competitive soccer and has maintained a relationship with sports through her experience working on site with the Laurier Varsity Men’s Rugby team and the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) through the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA). Working to assess and treat the players for optimal performance on the field utilizing techniques such as
athletic taping, rhythmic mobilization, passive stretching and range of motion, trigger point release, PNF and PIR.
Alaina believes in combining remedial exercise, hydrotherapy and manual therapy to treat various injuries and conditions such as headaches, bronchitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, sprains/strains, and piriformis syndrome, as well as for general relaxation. She views treatments as a partnership where both client and therapist work together to achieve their treatment goals.
